ARTIST STATEMENT
My fine art abstract images reveal unusual views of what society generally renders ordinary, by photographing subjects from my personal unseen perspective. Creating visual depth and inspiration in the perceived uninteresting is priority. Things found common in everyday life inspire my creative process. Whether it be overlooked people, places, or objects, I present a strange beauty in the uninviting. Rather than frame the subject as a whole, I prefer a representation of the smaller parts, as if looking through a microscope, making images of the "atom" instead of the "element."
